A man died Saturday at the Larimer County Jail after he was medically cleared at a hospital twice the day before he died, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.Johnstown police arrested the man Friday morning about 9:40 a.m. on felony drug charges, deputies said in a news release. (KRON) -- On Thanksgiving, an Oakland Police vehicle was hit by a sideshow participant while trying to drive through the event, OPD officials said.Just before midnight on Nov. 23, officers responded to a sideshow in the area of 80th Avenue and International Boulevard in Oakland. Officials said there were between 15 and 20 cars participating and about 30 people on foot watching.During the sideshow, a vehicle was hit by an active participant. Spectator video shows a white sedan back up into the front of the police vehicle while doing donuts in the middle of the street. Officials said the suspect fled the scene. No injuries or damage to the police vehicle were reported.The investigation is ongoing. (KRON) -- A routine probation compliance check turned violent when an officer with the San Rafael Police Department was allegedly kicked in the face while trying to put a suspect in the car Friday night, according to SRPD officials. Police said they saw a man known to be on probation for several violent crimes walking in the 400 block of Francisco Boulevard East around 9:30 p.m. Officers contacted the man for a probation compliance check when they said he began to reach for his waistband. The officers immediately put the man in handcuffs before he could get to the weapon.Police said they found an unloaded ghost gun in the suspect's pantleg. The suspect then became violent and kicked one of the officers in the face while being placed in the back of the police car. (KRON) -- On Saturday, officers with the San Francisco Fire Department responded to reports of a 30-foot sailboat with three people on it that had lost power and was drifting towards rocks near the Golden Gate Bridge, SFFD said in a social media post.At 4:36 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the scene near Mile Rock past the Golden Gate Bridge. When officers made contact with the boat, they confirmed that the anchor had been dropped.
