LOUIS - A spokesperson from the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office announced Tuesday night that Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner had filed her motion in response to the attorney general's lawsuit. There is an effort to remove her from office after a backlog of court cases. Shootings in Oakland leave two men hospitalized OAKLAND — Two men were shot about four hours apart Tuesday night in different areas of East Oakland, authorities said.Both men, who are Oakland residents, were in stable condition. The shootings did not appear to be related after early investigation, authorities said.About 11:17 p.m. Tuesday a 57-year-old man was shot in the hand in the 5700 block of Foothill Boulevard.He told police he was standing outside when he heard some other people arguing and then heard a gunshot. He realized he had been shot in the hand and went to his vehicle parked nearby where he waited for police to respond.  No other victims were found.Police were investigating the motive for the shooting.
